Hello, my name is Phil Marteney, and I am a photographer for Gilroy Media. I graduated from Milan High School, where I was a three-sport athlete in football, swimming, and track, earning my varsity letter in all three sports.

My love for sports and photography started at a young age. After taking several college photography courses, I discovered my passion for sports photography and have spent years capturing memorable moments for athletes and teams.

My journey with Gilroy Media came as a surprise when I was contacted about using some of my photos in their content. I’m excited for this opportunity and look forward to covering local games for Gilroy Media while continuing to capture the moments that make sports special.
