I can say from experience playing in the LCAA that you've got to be tough as nails. This year, we've got four teams in the conference that fit that description: Hudson, Clinton, Ida, and Madison.

What do these four teams have in common? They're all playing for a share of the LCAA title this Friday night.

Hudson will face off against Ida in a matchup with championship implications. Earlier in the year, Hudson suffered a massive upset loss to Madison, a team that has surprised many teams and fans across the conference with its level of play this season. That loss lit a fire under the Tigers, sparking a run that has included several impressive performances, most notably an eight-point victory over the Clinton Redwolves.

Ida, now coming off a loss to the Redwolves, will look to bounce back against the Tigers and claim a share of the LCAA title.

On the other side of the conference, the remaining share of the LCAA championship will be up for grabs at Wegner Field in a matchup between Clinton and Madison.

Clinton's momentum had taken a hit as the Redwolves struggled to put the Tigers away until late in their matchup. They needed a statement win, and they got one last week against the Bluestreaks.

Madison entered that matchup looking red-hot after steamrolling its opponents and remaining undefeated before facing Clinton. However, the Redwolves handed the Bluestreaks their first loss of the season, setting up an exciting opportunity for Clinton to compete for a share of the conference title.

This puts the LCAA in a unique situation. For the first time since 2018, the conference is set to have a shared championship, with two games carrying title implications on the same night: Hudson vs. Ida and Clinton vs. Madison.

We're in for a huge night of football in Lenawee County!
